
“For all those in the Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge: From this point on, meetings with Dave McClure will have to be arranged for outside of the regular Monday night meetings. But fear not, there are still opportunities to progress towards completing the Merit Badge on your own schedule. At this point we have discussed nearly all of the material that needs to be addressed in group meetings, so you know what you need to know for the requirements. Now, to get credit for the requirements (specifically requirements 1, 4a, 4c, 5, 6, 7a, and 7b, which can all be found on www.meritbadge.com) you must email Dave McClure a 2-3 paragraph response/explanation for each. You can email your responses to DWMcClure@cox.net. Arrangements are being made for the requirements which cannot be completed in this manner, for instance attendance at a community meeting, and scouts will be informed of those arrangements at a later date.”

All Scouts who have completed the rank of First Class are eligible to sign up for this Eagle Required Badge. We will meet tentatively every other Monday at FUMC and the times will vary between 5:30-7:00 p.m. We will try to have monthly field trips. We expect the class to run through January/February.
